  • If houses and industries are not built helter-skelter woodlands will continue to exist and parks can be developed within the areas where housing developments are built.

  • That is probably one of the largest reasons folks want to move here.

  • You are stripping the gravel pit. I don’t know how mush the Township owns.  Trees could be planted there, along with the school a tree matures in 30 years so you could have Open area and Forests in 13 years. You would have very few dollars invested.

  • What are the designated areas, who designates them & how political are they?
  • Any piece of ground not being farmed already being farmed should be encouraged into habitat.

  • Irons Park is a nice park. Others should be looked at carefully.
  • All development should be encouraged (appropriately). This is to be expected considering our proximity to the city.

  • As long as usage and support is shared by the township rather than a few property owners such as Flowage Lake.
  • Woodlands & Parks should  be in areas best suited to woodlands and parks. “Natural” settings, not man made.
